Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

This is a high sensory activity that can create a crazy memory for campers simply because it engages more than one sense. We would gather campers around a clean flat surface, could be a table or a board then lather shaving cream on the table covering the surface in an even layer approximately one inch thick. Then have campers take turns writing or drawing things they are thankful for in the cloud of shaving cream. If time allows smooth out the shaving cream and refine the question of what campers are thankful for pushing and pulling the conversation in different directions. This encourages campers to think about the whole cloud and how each persons gratitude impacts and changes the shape of the cloud.
